A drive-by shooting in the early hours following Memorial Day is being investigated by Kansas City Missouri police.
On Tuesday, May 31st at 1:50am, police were called to a residence in the 11200 block of Corrington in regard to a shooting. Upon arrival, witnesses stated three men were walking in the street when suspect(s) in a white Ford Taurus shot at them. One of the men,19 year-old Brian Washington, b/m (pictured left), had been shot and was transported to a local hospital by private vehicle where he was pronounced dead. There are no suspects in custody and anyone with information is urged to call the TIPS Hotline at 816.474.8477.
